First of all I must give big props to Lincoln Sessoms and Maurice Watts for such an outstanding weekend each and every year. The Hershey Park Lodge accommodations and service are top notch and I am so glad that a great home has been found for the R&B Weekend. Boston was in the house this year with more people than we have ever had in the past. How can anyone say that they didn’t get there monies worth in entertainment alone. You know you are being treated like a VIP when you first arrive. Rooms were fresh and clean and towels were white as snow (a big thumbs up for me). I did not get to use the new Indoor Water Park but was told that it was outstanding. Now to what everyone came for was the three day weekend of non stop entertainment. All I can say is WOW. I didn’t think it could get any better but I should know better when Maurice and Lincoln are running it. Nu Era, NYCE, and the other groups on Friday night left everyone wanting and looking for more. Saturday’s night concert did not let us down one bit! Just let everyone know that I will be returning. Happy New Year everyone, see you at the next Classic R&B Weekend.
