The R & B weekend was an awesome experience. My Krewe and I are waiting to see who the entertainment will be in 2018.
We are hoping for THE O’JAYS, THE WHISPER’S, AFTER 7, GLADYS KNIGHT, DENIECE WILLIAMS and The STYLISTIC’S. We don’t dare wish for SMOKEY. Lol
The Hotel was wonderful, and the staff was friendly and efficient. Everyone who attended the R & B weekend was jovial, courteous and in party mode.
I only have two (2) suggestions:
1) Everyone cannot eat SPICY chicken, also have a regular fried or baked option at the midnight buffet.
2) The Gospel Brunch was lovely, however, the music and singing was SO LOUD you weren’t able to even converse with your seatmate!!
While one enjoys the delicious breakfast, a somewhat quieter mood would be much appreciated.
